THE MONEEN DVD: IT ALL STARTED WITH A RED STRIPE
DUE OUT MAY 13 ON VAGRANT

March 25, 2008 – MONEEN announces the release of their first long-form DVD, The Moneen DVD: It All Started With A Red Stripe due out on May 13, 2008 (Vagrant).

The DVD compiles more than two hours of footage of the Brampton, Ontario quartet including fans first look at the Alex Liu-directed documentary film “The Start To This May Be The End To Another” that delves into the tenuous period the band experienced creating their 2006 release, The Red Tree.

Additionally, the DVD features multiple ‘easter eggs’, band-created artwork, an entire live concert shot and directed by Greg Benedetto from a May 2007 show in Toronto, oodles of behind-the-scenes tour footage, webisodes that the band has shot over the last two years, and five music videos, including a previously unreleased video for “The Song I Swore To Never Sing”, shot and directed by vocalist/guitarist Kenny Bridges.

Bridges, along with guitarist Chris “Hippy” Hughes, and bassist Erik Hughes recently parted ways with drummer Peter Krpan, who had been with the band since they formed in 1999. The band is currently writing new material with drummer Steve Nunnaro and expects to enter the studio in early summer to begin recording their fourth full-length album. Meanwhile, the band has already begun posting videos of their progress on their newly revamped website: www.moneen.com.

PROTEST THE HERO CANCEL REMAINING DATES ON SILVERSTEIN TOUR

WILL RETURN TO THE U.S. ON APRIL 1

March 11, 2008 – PROTEST THE HERO’s frontman, Rody Walker, has posted a letter to fans on the band’s MySpace page announcing that the band is pulling off their current U.S. tour with Silverstein to regroup at home.

“It is my unfortunate duty to inform you all that we will not be continuing on the Silverstein tour. While on tour recently, we realized our internal structure was built on a whimsical foundation. We have become a disorganized touring band, and it's left the five of us exhausted and miserable. Ergo, we are revamping, whipping our team into shape, polishing our rims, straightening our brims, and making a stab at semi-professionalism. Though dropping a tour may seem like a very unprofessional thing to do, we need this time to get our shit back on track. “

You can read the rest of Walker’s comments here: http://www.myspace.com/protestthehero

Protest The Hero released their sophomore album, Fortress, on 1/29/08 and will return to the U.S. on April 1st to begin a North American tour with Chiodos. The Whitby, ON quintet has touring plans in the U.K., Europe and Japan before coming back to the States to perform on the entire Vans Warped Tour this summer.

A CURSIVE MEMORY’S “EVERYTHING” VIDEO
ON MTV’S TOTAL REQUEST LIVE TODAY!

“Everything” sets record for most-watched video on MySpace

ACM flips the script on today’s celebrity obsessed culture by becoming “Bandarazzi” to film their first music video

March 3, 2008 – Southern California’s A CURSIVE MEMORY just released their debut full-length, Changes (Vagrant, 2/19/08) and already they’re setting records!

The teenaged five-piece band took to the streets of Hollywood to film their first ever music video for “Everything” and it just became the ‘most watched video by a rock band’ on MySpace -- with over 502,000 views in just one week!

Tune in to MTV today at 3:30pm Eastern to get a ‘First Look’ at “Everything” on MTV’s TRL.

“Everything” will debut on mtvU’s “The Freshmen” show on Monday as well, and can already be seen on “Steven’s Untitled Rock Show” on FUSE.

ACM is the twin guitar and vocal attack of Shaun Profeta and Colin Baylen, with Mark Borst Smith on bass and keys, and newcomer Dillan Wheeler on drums. The South Bay-area natives have been together for 5 years; writing their own songs and playing gigs since they were just 14 years old, and touring with heavyweights like Jimmy Eat World, HelloGoodbye, Boys Like Girls, New Found Glory and more.

The band begins the spring touring season next week starting with a few headlining shows before meeting up with Armor For Sleep. Next, they join the Bamboozle Road Show leading up to Bamboozle Left on April 6th in Irvine, CA., followed by an extensive national tour (lots of dates still being added) with Medic Droid.
