SENSES FAIL ANNOUNCE “LIFE IS NOT A WAITING ROOM” OUT OCTOBER 7

June 25, 2008 - SENSES FAIL announces an October 7 release for Life Is Not A Waiting Room (Vagrant), their third full-length and follow up to 2006’s Still Searching. Brian McTernan (Hot Water Music, Thrice) produced the twelve-track set at his Salad Days studio in Baltimore, MD.

“There is a real sense of urgency in the songs we’ve been writing,” singer James “Buddy” Nielsen stated previously. “The songs have a lot of grit and power and remind me of how I felt when we wrote From The Depths of Dreams.”

Nielsen, along with guitarists Garrett Zablocki and Heath Saraceno and drummer Dan Trapp, were joined in the studio by bassist Jason Black (Hot Water Music, The Draft).

The band will be unveiling more pre-release details and their fall touring plans in the coming weeks.

Fans that stop by the Vagrant tent after July 16 during this summer’s Vans Warped Tour can pick up the free Vagrant Summer Sampler that features “Ali For Cody,” from Life Is Not A Waiting Room.

The New Jersey-based group formed six years ago and released their debut EP, From the Depths of Dreams, in 2002. 2004’s Let It Enfold You was followed by Still Searching, which debuted at #15 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Senses Fail has performed multiple worldwide tours and their catalog sales have reached over 850,000.

MATT PRYOR ANNOUNCES SOLO TOUR

Co-Headlining Dates With Chris Conley (Saves The Day) Begin August 6
Headlining Dates With Kevin Devine Begin August 22

Presale Starts Today

Debut Solo Release, Confidence Man Out July 29

(June 11, 2008) - Matt Pryor (The New Amsterdams, ex-Get Up Kids) announces his first solo tour that kicks off in Minneapolis on August 6th. The first 13 dates are co-headliner’s with Chris Conley of Saves The Day, followed by headlining dates across the southern and eastern US with Kevin Devine.

"This is the first full tour I've done in five years and I'm excited to get out and play for people,” says Pryor. “Being out with good friends like Chris and Kevin should make for really fun shows."

A limited number of tickets have been held for fans and will be available through an exclusive Ducat King presale that begins today, Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 1:00PM local time. Click here to buy tickets: http://mattpryor.ducatking.com

Confidence Man (Vagrant, 07/29/08) is an intimate collection of acoustic songs that showcase Pryor’s skillful songwriting at its bare, emotive minimum. The 15 tracks were self-produced and self-recorded and encompass a long span of Pryor’s career. The oldest, “Dear Lover,” originated in 1995 and appears on this record in its third incarnation. The newest songs, like “A Totally New Year,” “Only” and “Lovers Who Have Lost Their Cause,” were conceived only a few months ago.

“I’ve always wanted to do something that was quieter and acoustic and could be played by one person,” said Pryor about the impetus behind the new record. “I wanted to go out and play shows alone. I just want to have my little folk moment.”

The Lawrence, KS native will also be performing on select dates with his children’s music group, The Terrible Twos, in support of their upcoming release, Jerzy The Giant (07/29/08, Vagrant).

INTRODUCING WARSHIP

New Band Features Members of From Autumn To Ashes

Debut Album Due Fall 2008

First Track “Toil” On MySpace Now

(June 9, 2008) – WARSHIP, the new band featuring Francis Mark (vocals, drums) and Rob Lauritsen (guitar, bass) of From Autumn To Ashes, is currently in a New York studio recording their debut release with producer Andrew Schneider (Made Out Of Babies, Cave In, Pelican, Unsane). The as-yet-untitled disc is due out on Vagrant later this fall.

Fans can hear a brand new track, “Toil”, on www.myspace.com/mywarship
The track will also be featured on the Vagrant ’08 Summer Sampler that will be available for free at the Vagrant tent at this summer’s Vans Warped Tour.

“At this point I feel that we have accomplished everything we could have hoped for with FATA,” Fran Mark says in a statement to fans on the band’s MySpace page. “It doesn’t feel much like a break up. Just feels like the end. It’s complete. I would say that we are going on indefinite hiatus because the term breakup suggests a more negative circumstance. There have been no quarrels between band members. It is also not a question of fan support because we are lucky to have some of the most loyal and impassioned friends a band could ask for. Thank you again for the overwhelming support of our last album. I’ve dedicated almost 9 years to FATA and it’s become something of a security for me. I’m looking forward to feeling uncertain and the freedom of starting a new band that has no definition. We don’t have any expectations or specific goals with Warship. We just want to play loud, have fun and share some positive music with our friends.“

“The name Warship comes from a time last year when I was making worship candles (the tall, skinny glass jar candles you get in Brooklyn dollar stores and bodegas),” continues Mark. “They have paintings of saints on one side and a prayer on the opposite. I was buying blank candles and doing my own paintings on them. A friend asked me on a phone call what had I been up to and when I said “making worship candles”, she thought that I meant candles with actual warships on them. This led me to thinking about the relationship between the two. How discouraging it is when ‘worship’ begets ‘warships’. “

Late summer touring plans for Warship will be announced shortly.

From Autumn To Ashes most recent release, Live At Looney Tunes, will be released Tuesday, June 17th.
