(Los Angeles, CA – August 27, 2009) – THRICE announces five new west coast headline dates that include two hometown shows at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA in late November. A special ticket presale for fans begins Friday, August 28 at 1pm local time through http://thrice.ducatking.com.

The Southern California-based quartet is kicking off their fall touring plans with the previously announced opening slot on several dates with Brand New that begin in Lubbock, Texas on October 25. Thrice will be bringing along The Dear Hunter and Polar Bear Club for their headline dates that begin November 15 in Pittsburgh, PA and currently wrap up in San Diego in early December.

Later today Thrice.net will feature the third installment of behind-the-scenes video clips showing each band member discussing the writing and recording process behind Beggars, their sixth studio album.

Beggars was recorded this spring in guitarist Teppei Teranishi’s own New Grass Studios and is available now on iTunes and the CD is set for release on September 15, 2009. The CD package will include a download card featuring 5 bonus tracks.

August 4, 2009 – Vagrant Records announces a new in-store release date for the sixth studio album from Southern California’s Thrice. Beggars leaked in mid-July resulting in a pushed up digital release exclusively on iTunes on August 11. September 15 will be the day that the newly beefed up physical CD will be in stores.  The package will include a download card featuring five bonus tracks – two b-sides (“Answered,” “Red Telephone”) which were recorded during the Beggars sessions, as well as a hot-off-the-presses studio rendition of The Beatles’ “Helter Skelter” – a fan favorite from recent Thrice live shows. Also included are a remix of “All The World Is Mad” by Free The Robots and a remix of “Circles” by Textual.

Guitarist Teppei Teranishi produced all fifteen tracks at his New Grass Studios in Southern California.

Thrice is confirmed as main support on a portion of Brand New’s recently announced fall US tour. Their leg begins October 25 in Lubbock, TX and wraps up in Philadelphia on November 14. Thrice’s headline dates begin the next day in Pittsburgh, PA at Diesel and more dates are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Tickets for Thrice’s November headline dates will be made available early to fans through a special Ducat King presale beginning Wednesday, August 5 here (http://www.thrice.ducatking.com/). Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning August 20.
